Your words and choices
No account is needed to try the Desk. Drafts, files and earlier versions are saved for this browser. The demo uses a cookie to keep your access for 30 days; download a copy if you want to keep it longer or before clearing cookies. AI suggestions are separate until you accept them. For lived stories, the assistant is instructed to ask about missing details; always review its suggestions.
Choosing a first reader shares a fixed version with their signed-in email. They can respond if you allow it. Their response never changes your original.
Help and privacy
Reading aloud uses your device’s available synthetic voices. Voice recording uses your microphone only after you choose to start. You can keep and replay the original.
The first launch test
Invite a small group of people who enjoy telling stories but don’t write regularly. Test lived stories and fiction, hosted sessions and independent use.
Look for a satisfying finish, a story that feels like theirs, and a voluntary return to begin another. Sharing is always optional.
